You’ve heard it many times before, betting on NBA basketball is a difficult task. It is certainly not comparable to placing NFL bets or MLB bets. However making the most of your betting money is rather straightforward, provided you’re not helping to pocket any money intended for other more important purposes.
If you’re not familiar with NBA basketball then you’re in for a rude awakening. NBA basketball is basketball played between two teams, most people say the game is the most popular in the USA. You may or may not have heard of the professional team that’s playing for the NBA championship. You’ll be playing it in late October or early November. The NBA season is a long one and there’s plenty of basketball games that are meaningless to you. In other words, you won’t be keeping track of the NBA basketball picks for the sake of clearing out your office. You can’t watch every game you’re able to watch and for that you need to be inside the arena.
You also need to have a firm grasp of the rules and the mechanics of NBA basketball. You have to be at least familiar with the division and the Playoffs. And, because there are multiple rounds of playoffs, you’ll have to gather more than a team to make it to the championship. You’ll need to gather more than a basketball team to win it all. You’ll need to gather more than basketball players to make it to the NBA finals. For example, have a Yankees and Raymer gamblers unit. You’ll be able to tell whether the team that’s at the top of the Eastern League is going to be able to handle the burden of the knockout and be able to win the title. This team has an excellent bullpen, an offense galore and some all-around all star gold. But you also need to have Aristocratic features that are unlikely to be lacking during the NBA finals. The last thing you want is a weak, injured basketball team representing the NBA finals.
So what must you do?
You need to backtrack and make NBA basketball picks that will lead you to a win. First, there are no wrong decisions. A lot of wrong decisions can kill an otherwise good run of NBA basketball picks. Decisions like “We’re underdogs so we’re going to bet on the best club.” Or even worse, “Man, theWD half court is gonna be so sloppy, we need to throw caution to the wind and go for it.” These are wrong decisions, and you need to choose among two teams that you think are capable of making the right decisions.
The idea is to not lead your decision away from equity. You need to factor probability and situation into the equation. But you’re still going to have to make the occasional decision based on what you believe is the right direction. The goal is to make half-court decisions and be able to rely on both offense and defense to get you the desired result. The more confident you are on the offensive and defensive aspects of the game, the more bets you will win. You will also be capable of spotting trends and situations to bet on, like the Home Underdog situation. Again, most decisions will fall into place as you gain familiarity with the nuances of the style of play in the two basketball associations.
In the NFLWild Card game this weekend, one key NFC team will have a big say in the outcome, and it’s the Indianapolis Colts. More specifically, the Indianapolis Colts will have to do some work to ensure a victory over the San Diego Chargers. The Chargers are the favored Chargers according to the oddsmakers, but that doesn’t mean you should bet on them straight up. MNF is extremely hard to predict and that’s why the starters in the NFL miss week 1. They aren’t perfect as far as performance goes, but they are the best at what they do. Go ahead and look at the Monday Night game. Is the Chicago Bears going to roll into the playoffs as a Wild Card? They better, and you’ll be happy you did.
The opinions which circle the Las Vegas strip on Sunday night are very one-sided. Think about that for one minute. This is not a couple of buddies sitting around the table; it’s the coaching staff and front office of the different programs. Sitting around the table, they better know what’s going on. But, you would think NFL coaching staff and front offices would be more concerned with personnel than the money. Right?
Not exactly. Stories get printed up and management wants to get out the fresher, to save their butts from the fire that reporters get from the players and coaches. Coaches and owners are usually afraid of speaking out, being the guy that does the talking and being the target. Sometimes because they don’t really know the players that well. Others aren’t allowed to tell the story.
